This is the 11th international conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized by the university, in cooperation with research institutes, universities, and domestic and international experts. This event marks the 3rd time the International Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (IAD) of Dong A University has cooperated with the International Society of Science and Applications (ISSAT) to co-organize.
The workshop gathered more than 30 experts from 8 countries and territories, including the United States, France, Japan, Korea, China, India, Taiwan (China) and Vietnam. The working sessions took place over 3 days (6-8.1) in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, focusing on the following topics: Explanatory Machine Learning; Data-Driven Modeling and Simulation; Predictive Analytics; Statistical Machine Learning and Optimization. 21 professional reports were presented and discussed extensively, aiming to solve challenges in modern business and industry.
Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet - Vice President of Dong A University - emphasized that the conference not only provides timely solutions but is also essential in the context of a constantly changing world. Organizing in Da Nang, a dynamic city, demonstrates the commitment to promoting global cooperation in the field of data science and AI applications.
Within the framework of the conference, ISSAT awarded the Outstanding Paper Award to outstanding research works on lightweight federated learning models and predictive maintenance policy optimization. The conference is expected to be an international forum for sharing knowledge and advanced research, contributing to the development of society and the global economy. This event contributes to affirming the position of Dong A University in research and application of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
