Attending the launching ceremony at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument ceremony were representatives of the armed forces, youth union members, women's union members, students and a large number of people in the province.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu - Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, with the characteristics of being a mountainous, border province, with many ethnic groups living together, family work and prevention and control of domestic violence are always concerned and directed by Party committees and authorities at all levels.
In recent years, the province has implemented many solutions such as: strengthening propaganda and moral and lifestyle education in families; building models of happy families, clubs to prevent and combat domestic violence; promoting the role of village elders, village heads, and prestigious people in the community; promptly supporting and protecting victims of domestic violence.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested to promote information, education, and communication activities to prevent and combat domestic violence on mass media. Pay special attention to digital platforms, and cooperate with influential people on social networks.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, hundreds of delegates, officials, soldiers, union members, association members and people participated in street mobilization to propagate and respond to the National Action Month on preventing and combating domestic violence.
