Dien Bien tightens management of transport business vehicles

Dien Bien - Functional forces will tighten management of business transport vehicles, drivers sign traffic safety commitments.

On May 7, the Traffic Police Department (Dien Bien Provincial Police) coordinated with the Provincial Automobile Transport Association to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate laws on road traffic order and safety (TTATGT) in 2026.

Participating are business owners, transport business units and more than 30 people who are drivers directly driving vehicles.

At the conference, the Traffic Police force focused on disseminating contents close to the daily work of drivers and transport units.

Specifically, propaganda on occupational safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation for vehicles carrying construction materials, soil and rocks; installation of journey monitoring equipment, equipment for drivers and vehicles; conditions to ensure the safety of cargo and passenger transport vehicles...

In addition, businesses and vehicle drivers are also allowed to watch presentation videos showing situations and traffic accidents related to transport vehicles.

The Traffic Police Department also notified and requested transport business units in the area to require drivers to commit to strictly complying with the provisions of law on traffic safety and order, and not to commit violations leading to traffic accidents.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Chung Diep - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, organizing propaganda is one of the key solutions to tighten traffic order and safety.

Accordingly, Dien Bien Provincial Police requested to reduce traffic accidents in the province by at least 5%, minimizing traffic accidents related to business vehicles transporting goods.
