On June 2, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, said that the unit is temporarily detaining Dang Thi Thu Hien (36 years old) and Vu Dinh Thinh (35 years old), both residing in Buon Ma Thuot city.
These subjects are being investigated for the acts of "Organizing illegal use of drugs" and "Illegal trading of drugs".
Previously, the authorities conducted a search of the residence and caught Hien red-handed organizing the illegal use and trading of drugs. Thinh was arrested for illegal drug trafficking.
Here, the police seized many packages of crystal meth and tools used for use and divided the drugs into small pieces.
Continuing to urgently search Thinh's residence, the police seized more than 148 grams of crystal meth hidden in a steam fan. The total amount of drugs seized from Hien and Thinh was nearly 200 grams.
Initially, the police determined that Hien and Thinh had a love relationship with each other. Recently, the two have bought drugs many times to divide and sell for profit.
Hien and Thinh had previous convictions for illegal drug trafficking and organization. At the time of her arrest, Hien was serving her prison sentence for raising a child under 36 months old.
