On June 19, Nam Phuoc Commune Police said - they have issued an arrest warrant for people detained in emergency cases, temporarily detaining Nguyen Thanh Duong, born in 1996 and Pham Thi Thuy Hang, born in 1994, both residing in Nui Thanh commune, Da Nang City, to investigate and handle acts related to drugs.
Previously, Nam Phuoc Commune Police simultaneously deployed 3 working groups to inspect 25 accommodation business establishments in the area. Functional forces conducted rapid drug tests for 85 citizens staying at these establishments.
During the inspection, the police discovered that Nguyen Thanh Duong tested positive for methamphetamine. Checking at the scene, functional forces seized 3 zip bags containing white crystals suspected of being drugs and 1 set of tools for illegal drug use.
Working with the police, Duong admitted the violation.
After that, the task force continued to discover that Pham Thi Thuy Hang had many suspicious signs. The rapid test results determined that Hang tested positive for methamphetamine. At the police station, Hang admitted to illegally using drugs.
Nam Phuoc Commune Police are continuing to consolidate the file and expand the investigation to handle the subjects according to legal regulations.
