On June 6, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the 2025 Hai Duong Province Summer storytelling Festival with the theme "Following your father's footsteps - Doing thousands of good things".
Nearly 100 children from 6 units including Hai Duong City, Kinh Mon Town and Thanh Ha, Ninh Giang, Nam Sach, Binh Giang districts attended. Each unit brings performances that tell stories about good books, focusing on reflecting the example of selfless sacrifice, building the homeland and defending the Fatherland, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary ethics.
The performances were elaborately invested in, helping children develop storytelling skills, creative thinking and the ability to present to the crowd.
At the end of the festival, Bui Nguyen Phuong Anh (Hai Duong City) won the excellent award. The organizing committee also awarded 3 A prizes, 2 B prizes and 6 consolation prizes to contestants with impressive performances.
The festival is an annual activity to arouse the love of reading in Hai Duong children, form the habit of reading from a young age and spread profound humanistic lessons through each page of the book.
