Responding to "All people's voluntary blood donation day", Da Nang organized a launching ceremony and blood collection at the Branch of the Academy of Public Administration and Management.

This activity was held on the morning of April 4, attracting nearly 300 people to register to participate, creating a lively atmosphere and spreading the spirit of compassion in the community.

At the ceremony, leaders of the City Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization emphasized the requirement to innovate propaganda work. The focus is on applying digital technology in managing, connecting and developing the blood donor force. This approach helps expand access and improve the effectiveness of mobilization.

At the same time, the city continues to consolidate the "living blood bank" models. This is an important force, ready to support when there is an urgent need. The mobilization of organ and tissue donation registration is also being promoted, contributing to opening up more life opportunities for patients.

The organizers called on officials, civil servants, union members, students and people to actively participate. Each person is healthy enough to be willing to donate blood, and at the same time mobilize relatives to respond. The spirit of proactiveness and voluntariness is a key factor to maintain a stable blood source.

Blood reception activities are carried out in accordance with procedures, ensuring safety. Participants are checked for health, consulted and thanked with practical gifts. This contributes to creating trust and encouraging people to participate for a long time.

The work of propagating tissue and organ donation is also effectively integrated. To date, the whole city has more than 1,300 people registered to donate. The "living blood bank" system has provided more than 10,000 units of blood, contributing to reducing the pressure of blood shortage at hospitals.

In 2026, the city aims to organize 200 blood donation drives, receiving more than 56,000 units of blood. The network of hundreds of blood donation clubs continues to play a core role, ensuring blood sources for emergency and treatment.
