In response to the news that Tuyen Quang province had a serious forest fire, to proactively prevent forest fires, people and functional forces of Chi Linh city and Kinh Mon town have made a fire prevention plan, actively participated in cleaning and clearing fallen forest trees.
Propaganda signs on forest protection, fire prevention and fighting have been placed throughout the forests in Chi Linh city and Kinh Mon town to raise people's vigilance.
Under the direction of superiors, the Hai Duong Forest Protection Department has sent forest fire forecast notices to the Forest Management Board, People's Committees of communes and wards with forests in Chi Linh city and Kinh Mon town to speed up propaganda work.

Localities and forest owners are recommended to prepare human resources and means to participate in overcoming the consequences if a forest fire occurs according to the "4 on-site" motto.
In recent days, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngan in Cau Dong residential area, Cong Hoa ward (Chi Linh city) and many households receiving forest contracts have actively participated in cleaning and clearing fallen forest trees.
"With climate change causing unpredictable droughts like today, the risk of forest fires is very high. Therefore, we strictly comply with regulations on forest fire prevention and fighting. Our family is actively clearing the remaining forest area to minimize the risk of forest fires" - Mr. Ngan said.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from March 24 to 30, Hai Duong will have no rain or light rain, with insignificant rainfall, prolonged dry weather, and low humidity. According to the Hai Duong Provincial Forest Protection Department, the forest fire forecast in Chi Linh city and Kinh Mon town is changed from level III (high level) to level IV (dangerous level), with a high risk of forest fire. If a fire occurs, the rate of fire spreading will be very fast.
