At Kien Quoc Primary School (Kien Phuc Commune, Ninh Giang District, Hai Duong Province), the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union organized a program to launch the first peak day of joining hands to build new rural areas and Green Sunday.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union - directed the implementation of a simultaneous campaign for the New Rural Development Volunteer Peak Day and the 1st Green Sunday in the province.
Promote the pioneering role of Hai Duong youth union members in joining hands to build new rural areas, participate in environmental protection, continue to affirm the determination, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of young people in building their homeland and country, promote the effectiveness of environmental protection, spread joint activities to build new rural areas and Green Sunday to become increasingly in-depth, effective and sustainable.
Within the framework of the program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Agribank Hai Duong Branch and the Youth Union of the Tax Branch of Region V to present to the locality: 1 youth tree project worth 30 million VND; 1 " caring home" project worth 50 million VND and 20 scholarships including gifts and cash, each worth 500,000 VND to students in difficult circumstances in the district.
After the launching program, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee implemented a number of activities such as planting trees and inaugurating the "Youth Tree shop" project; Participating in implementing the model "Following-up Market to reduce waste" and "Cashless People's Market", cleaning up the environment, village roads, and neighborhood alleys.
