In order to proactively respond to the abnormal developments of the weather, ensure the safety of irrigation works, prepare the prevention and fight against flooding in the province, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hai Duong province proposed the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; Enterprises exploiting irrigation works to organize inspection and overall safety assessment of irrigation works before the rainy and flood season in Hai Duong province.

inspect and evaluate at the request of the Department of Agriculture and the Environment on strengthening management and operation solutions to ensure dam safety, irrigation water reservoir and inspection and assessment of the current situation of damage dams and water reservoirs as prescribed.

Units need to determine the list of damaged and degraded works and request the competent authorities to allocate funding for repair and overcome the works and items of the work damaged before the rainy and floods to avoid incidents of unsafe projects.Organize inspection, review and evaluation to prepare or adjust the competent authority for approval according to the regulations: The process of operating irrigation works, protection plans, plans to respond to emergency situations, flood maps downstream dam; Evaluation of implementation results on safety management of irrigation works: Measurement, monitoring, testing, maintenance, investment in upgrading, new construction, modernization, handling of incidents of works, machinery and equipment ...; report and propose funding for implementation to ensure the provisions of law.
