Hai Duong Provincial Police have just announced the temporary suspension of receiving and processing ID and electronic identification records from June 27-30, 2025.
The suspension is to implement the direction of competent authorities related to the implementation of administrative unit arrangement, the organization of a two-level government model and ensuring synchronous and accurate information in the National Population Database. This is an important technical preparation step to serve the issuance of citizen identification cards and electronic identification according to the new administrative boundaries.
During the suspension period, the Provincial Police will also temporarily suspend a number of functions on the VNeID application such as: electronic identification card, residence information, criminal records, public services related to residence, etc.
Hai Duong Provincial Police recommends that people in the whole province pay attention and proactively arrange appropriate time to carry out related administrative procedures after the time to upgrade and update the system.
