On February 28, at Km 1617+000, Trang Bom commune, Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company in coordination with Trang Bom Commune People's Committee organized a launching ceremony to respond to "Tet tree planting forever remembers Uncle Ho" associated with the "Railway - Flower Road" movement in 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang - Deputy Director of Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company said that after 3 years of implementing the "Railway - Flower Road" movement (from 2023 - 2025), the entire route managed by the company has planted flowers and green trees on a total length of 25.07 km, exceeding the target of phase 1, deployed at 78/83 working positions.
The company also organized 25 launches in coordination with localities, mobilizing about 15,000 turns of officials, union members and people to participate, planting more than 6,000 green trees of all kinds such as: crape myrtle, incense, golden bell, golden scorpion...
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang added that the movement not only improves the "Green - Clean - Beautiful" landscape along the railway line, but also contributes to eliminating many points of waste residue, reducing environmental pollution, and raising awareness of protecting the railway traffic safety corridor.
We determine that in the coming period, we will focus on care, ensuring a high survival rate and good growth of trees; replicate the model "each official and union member plants and cares for at least one flower tree"; continue to sign commitments to coordinate with localities; promote communication so that the movement truly becomes a self-awareness of the community," Mr. Dang shared.
