On November 15, in Dak Lak province, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in collaboration with Thien Hanh General Hospital organized a scientific workshop with the theme "Modern experiment in optimizing the management of cardiovascular and infectious diseases".
The event aims to update professional knowledge, enhance diagnostic capacity and promote research and training cooperation between the two units.
The workshop attracted nearly 250 doctors, pharmacists, nurses and medical staff from many hospitals and medical facilities in the area. This is considered a practical academic forum, creating conditions for the medical team to access updated information on the application of testing techniques in clinical practice.
Mr. Le Minh Khoi - Head of the Department of Science and Training, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital - said: "Recently, the two hospitals have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement and quickly implemented many specific activities.
The event is a stepping stone for a series of scientific research and training programs that the two units will jointly develop. At the same time, it demonstrates its commitment to closely accompanying in improving professional quality".

Mr. Pham Phu Cuong - Deputy Director of Thien Hanh General Hospital - assessed the workshop as an important activity, marking the extensive cooperation between the two hospitals and the support of Roche Vietnam Co., Ltd.
He said that the program not only aims to continuously update medical knowledge but also serves as a foundation for building a series of annual scientific seminars, expected to be held in March every year, aiming to connect the medical team in the Central Highlands region and create a prestigious professional exchange forum.
With the orientation of sustainable development, the unit continues to prioritize investment in equipment, human resource training and expanding inter-hospital cooperation to meet the increasing health care needs of local people.
