On March 21, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) held a conference to summarize the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation activities for the period 2010 - 2025.
Mr. Luan Quoc Hung - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC - said that over the past 15 years, EVNHCMC has actively applied science and technology and digital transformation to all aspects of the corporation's operations and has brought high efficiency to the production and business of the unit.
To date, EVNHCMC has automated 100% of the Ho Chi Minh City power grid with 2 independent power system control centers, 100% of medium-voltage grid remote control and fully automatic operation.
In customer service, EVNHCMC has soon completed the installation of smart meters for 100% of electricity customers; 100% of customer services are provided online; nearly 100% of electricity bill payments are made electronically.
Thanks to the application of science and technology, EVNHCMC is also ranked as a power company with a smart grid 41/9 in the world and second in Southeast Asia, after Singapore Electricity Company.
On this occasion, EVNHCMC commended 55 collectives and 17 individuals with many achievements in the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
