On May 7, according to information from Vinh Long Provincial Police, the Investigation Police Agency in coordination with Vinh Kim Commune Police issued a decision to prosecute the accused and an arrest warrant for Nguyen Huynh Thanh Tu, Nguyen Duc Minh and Nguyen Viet Dang.
Three subjects are being investigated for the act of organizing the illegal use of drugs. Among them, Tu residing in Binh Quoi ward, Ho Chi Minh City; Minh residing in Hung My commune, Vinh Long province and Dang residing in Da Kia commune, Dong Nai province.
Previously, on April 29, through grasping the situation in the area, Vinh Kim Commune Police inspected and caught red-handed 4 young men in the act of organizing the illegal use of drugs at a house in Ray hamlet, Vinh Kim commune. Related exhibits were sealed to serve the investigation.
At the police station, the subjects confessed that Tu invited a group of friends to his acquaintance's house to play. Minh brought a set of homemade tools used to use methamphetamine, inside there was also a little methamphetamine for the whole group to use together. Taking advantage of the time when there was no one at home, the whole group went to the bedroom to use drugs (the female subject did not use drugs).
After using drugs, Tu and Dang continued to call a taxi to Hoa Thuan ward area to buy more drugs to bring back for the group to use. While the subjects continued to use drugs, they were inspected, discovered and caught red-handed on the spot by Vinh Kim Commune Police.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Long Provincial Police is continuing to consolidate the file and expand the investigation into the case of organizing the illegal use of narcotics related to the subjects for handling according to legal regulations.
