On April 16, the People's Committee of Tam Thang ward said that it had requested the investor of Tho Trang amusement park (177 Thuy Van, Tam Thang ward) to temporarily suspend all games at the amusement park from April 16 until sufficient conditions are met according to regulations; voluntarily dismantle kiosks and eateries built improperly.
Mr. Ha Huu Dung - Vice Chairman of Tam Thang Ward People's Committee - said that the locality always creates favorable conditions for businesses to do business and produce, but must strictly comply with legal regulations. The ward has worked and guided businesses to carry out procedures since December 2025, but has not yet complied.
Before requesting businesses to temporarily suspend operations at the above amusement park, the locality organized a meeting to inspect and review legal documents related to business activities at this amusement park. In which, from March 2025, the investor, Tho Trang Entertainment Investment Joint Stock Company, applied to change the business location and was approved. By May 2025, Vung Tau City People's Committee (formerly) had a document guiding businesses to prepare design documents for project items to specifically determine the scale; implement procedures and components of construction investment documents, including items for construction permits. However, businesses have not fully implemented it.
Although not yet licensed to resume operations, the enterprise has completed relocation and resumed business from July 2025 to date, with 4 thrilling games and many children's games; attracting quite a lot of people and tourists bringing their children to have fun and entertainment. At the same time, the enterprise also arbitrarily built 15 kiosks selling souvenirs and 1 restaurant for customers to rent for business.
Currently, the enterprise has only provided inspection dossiers that meet the requirements for games, but has not provided dossiers related to the installation of works such as eateries, kiosks for rent, construction permits... Therefore, specialized units of Tam Thang ward believe that the enterprise is operating illegally and does not meet the conditions according to the provisions of law.
