Police raid 3 bars in Ho Chi Minh City to discover 186 people positive for drugs
On July 9, Ho Chi Minh City Police informed about hundreds of officers and soldiers raiding 3 bars simultaneously.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, 3 working groups of hundreds of officers and soldiers simultaneously inspected 3 locations.
The bars inspected include: F5 Club bar, Dong Hoa ward; Six T Club, An Phu ward; TGT Disco Club bar, Vung Tau ward.

Da Nang stops all paragliding activities in Son Tra mountain area
The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches said that it has stopped all paragliding activities on Son Tra peninsula since July 9.
Speaking to Lao Dong newspaper, a leader of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches said that immediately after the fatal accident from the tourist paragliding activity, the Board immediately stopped all flight activities on Son Tra mountain.
Sports, experiential, and tourism services on Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang have been piloted from 2023 to present. This is an adventure sports activity, one of the products that attracts tourists and experiences in Da Nang in recent years.

Order to open the bottom spillway of Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir this afternoon
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just issued a telegram on opening the bottom spillway of Hoa Binh hydroelectric reservoir.
The dispatch clearly stated that at 8:00 a.m. on July 9, 2025, the upstream water level of Hoa Binh Lake was at an elevation of 105.97 m, the downstream water level was 11.61 m, the flow to the lake was 3,860 m3/s, the total downstream flow was 2,315 m3/s.
The Minister of Agriculture and Environment ordered the Director of Hoa Binh Hydropower Company:
Open 01 bottom spillway gate of Hoa Binh hydroelectric reservoir at 4:00 p.m. on July 9, 2025.
Closely monitor the development of floods, safety of works, flow to the reservoir, water levels upstream and downstream of the reservoir and promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
On the same day, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also sent an official dispatch to the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Phu Tho, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh on ensuring safety downstream when operating Hoa Binh hydroelectric reservoir.
