On July 13, Duc Lap Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said that the unit is strengthening measures to fight and prevent drug crime, determined not to let complex points and hotspots form in the area.
According to Duc Lap Commune Police, in the past time, the unit has proactively advised the Party Committee and local authorities to synchronously implement drug prevention and control solutions; strengthened grasping the situation, managing the area and reviewing subjects with suspicious signs.
Specifically, during the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control, the police force inspected and tested 30 cases with suspicious signs, thereby detecting 9 cases positive for drugs.
These cases have been filed and handled according to the provisions of law.
During the struggle, Duc Lap Commune Police also discovered and arrested a number of subjects who organized the illegal use of narcotics in the area.
Expanding the investigation, functional forces continue to clarify and handle subjects related to the act of illegally trading and supplying drugs.
Currently, the case is being further expanded and clarified by the investigating agency to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
According to Duc Lap Commune Police, the detection and handling of acts of organizing the use and illegal trading of narcotics demonstrates the determination to fight and prevent crime right from the grassroots level, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.
