In Bac Gia Nghia ward, the police force strengthened patrols and inspections on roads, public areas and places where young people often gather, especially at night.

Lieutenant Colonel Luong Ngoc Hieu - Head of Bac Gia Nghia Ward Police said that from the beginning of 2026 to now, the unit has summoned, questioned, deterred, and educated many cases with signs of violations; administratively fined 20 cases, warned 3 cases, and prosecuted 1 case for the crime of "Disturbing public order".
In parallel with handling work, the police force promotes legal propaganda at schools and residential areas, focusing on traffic safety, prevention of school violence and violations of public order.
Prevention work is identified as a key task. Cases of causing disturbances, swerving, dodging or using violence are strictly handled according to regulations," Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hieu said.
In fact, many cases related to teenagers have paid the price with prison sentences. Typically, the brawl between 2 groups of 27 subjects in the Duc Thanh bridge area, Phan Thiet ward, the defendants were sentenced to 12 to 24 months in prison for the crime of "Disturbing public order".
In Da Huoai 3 commune, two defendants Truong Minh Quy and Dinh Trung Hieu were sentenced to 3 years and 6 months to 4 years in prison after using alcohol and beer and participating in a fight at a karaoke bar. Notably, both had previous convictions for the same crime.
According to the police agency, to prevent violations early, there needs to be close coordination between families, schools and society in management, education, lifestyle orientation and raising awareness of law compliance for teenagers.
