On the morning of April 9, Lam Thuong Commune Police coordinated with the Task Force to strengthen the building of a drug-free commune of Lao Cai Provincial Police to organize a conference to propagate drug prevention and control at Mai Son High School.

The program has the participation of 34 officials, teachers and 640 students, creating a serious, exciting and educational atmosphere.
At the conference, Major Nguyen Tuyen Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of Lam Thuong Commune Police - directly disseminated knowledge about drug identification, especially drugs "disguised" under many new forms, easily entering the school environment.

Along with that are warnings about the serious consequences of drugs for the health, future of teenagers and social order and safety.
Through a close, easy-to-understand way of communicating, associated with real-life situations, the propaganda session helped students raise awareness, equip themselves with self-protection skills, and proactively say no to drugs and social evils.

Propaganda on drug prevention and control in schools is identified as an important "shield", contributing to preventing the risk of drugs entering young people early and far away. This is also a concrete step in concretizing the local determination to build Lam Thuong commune into a "drug-free commune" in 2026.
