On the morning of October 25, the Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with Phu Quoc Special Police and Phu Quoc Special Youth Union to organize a ceremony to clean up the environment and beautify the urban area at Bach Dang Park (Dinh Cau), Quarter 1, Duong Dong Ward.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, union members and young people participated in collecting waste, clearing weeds, cleaning the roadside, beaches and coastal public areas. The activity contributes to creating a clean and beautiful landscape, protecting the marine and island environment - one of the typical values of Phu Quoc.
Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police - said: this is a practical activity, with profound educational significance on revolutionary tradition, sense of responsibility and beautiful living ideals of youth. Thereby, arousing awareness of environmental protection, the spirit of volunteerism, and volunteerism of youth union members in building a civilized, green, clean, and beautiful urban area.
At the same time, strengthen the coordination between the police force and the Youth Union in performing the task of ensuring security and order, building Phu Quoc into a "Stedular unit for security, order and urban civilization".

Vu Ha Phuong - the youth union participating in the activity - shared: "Every trash bag picked up, every meter of beach cleaned is not just a small action, but a message we want to send to everyone - live responsibly with the environment. As young people living and working on the pearl island, we are more aware of having to join hands to preserve the blue sea and white sand. I hope that from activities like this, environmental protection awareness will spread more strongly in the community, so that Phu Quoc will always be a green, friendly and proud destination.
Environmental sanitation activities not only bring a more spacious and clean urban appearance but also create a widespread influence in the community about the responsibility of each individual towards nature and society.
