Consecutive detection of illegal fireworks transportation subjects in Quang Tri

    Quang Tri - Lao Bao Commune Police coordinated with other units to discover and catch red-handed 2 cases of transporting prohibited goods, seizing a total of 45 boxes of illegal fireworks.

    On October 14, Lao Bao Commune Police said that the unit had just presided over and coordinated with Lao Bao International Border Guard Station, the Customs Control Team under the Customs Branch of Region IX to arrest a case of illegal firecracker transportation.

    Accordingly, on October 9, in Lang Vai village (Lao Bao commune), the authorities caught Nguyen Van K. (born in 1992, residing in Tay Xuan village, Ky Van commune, Ha Tinh province) red-handed transporting 40 boxes of explosive fireworks.

    Previously, on September 30, 2025, in Vinh Dong village (Lao Bao commune), the commune police discovered and caught red-handed Do Thi H. (born in 1977, residing in Yen Thuan village, Lao Bao commune) transporting 5 boxes of explosive fireworks.

    The 45 boxes of explosive fireworks seized were illegal fireworks, originating from abroad.

    Currently, Lao Bao Commune Police have prepared a file and handed over the subjects and the exhibits to the authorities for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
