On June 20, on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026), a delegation from Cuu Long University led by Mr. Le Thanh Vu - Director of the Center for Communication and Event Organization - visited and congratulated the collective of officials and reporters of the Lao Dong Newspaper Representative Office in the Mekong Delta.
On behalf of the school's leaders, Mr. Le Thanh Vu sent congratulations to the collective of officials, reporters, and employees of Lao Dong Newspaper on Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day. He highly appreciated the companionship of Lao Dong Newspaper in information and propaganda work on education, contributing to spreading the image, training achievements and outstanding activities of Cuu Long University to a wide range of readers.
According to Mr. Vu, Lao Dong Newspaper always accompanies educational institutions, including Cuu Long University, contributing to spreading outstanding results in training, scientific research and community service. The school always appreciates and wishes to continue to receive the cooperation and companionship of Lao Dong Newspaper in the coming time.
Mr. Vu said that Cuu Long University was established in 2000, and has gone through more than 26 years of construction and development. To date, the school has trained and awarded degrees to nearly 50,000 bachelors, engineers, pharmacists and more than 1,500 masters. Currently, the school has about 40,000 students and trainees studying in many different industries and fields.
In the 2026 - 2027 academic year, Cuu Long University enrolls students in 42 training majors with nearly 100 majors. Among them, new majors include: Constitution Law and Administrative Law, Digital Economy, Vietnamese Studies and Artificial Intelligence.
On behalf of the collective of officials and reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Mekong Delta, Mr. Phan Ngoc Truong Nhan - Deputy Head in charge of the Representative Office of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Mekong Delta - thanked the feelings and concern of the leaders of Cuu Long University for the unit on the occasion of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day.
Mr. Phan Ngoc Truong Nhan said that in 2026 and the coming time, Lao Dong Newspaper will continue to closely coordinate with Cuu Long University in information and propaganda work; promptly reflect the outstanding results of the school, contributing to promoting the image, improving the quality of enrollment and developing higher education in the region.
