On June 15, the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Department of An Giang Provincial Police organized a professional training conference on management and execution of temporary detention and custody.
During 2 days, 80 trainees who are Commanders and prison guards of Detention Centers No. 1, No. 2 and affiliated detention camps will be disseminated and informed by reporters on the following contents: General awareness of detention and temporary detention management; Regulations on the list and management of construction works of Detention Centers and Temporary Detention Camps; Regulations on detention management in Detention Centers and Temporary Detention Camps; Regulations on the list of prohibited items to be brought into detention cells, detention cells and handling violations; Regulations on armed protection of detention facilities; Some Decrees of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Ejection of Detention and Temporary Detention; Regulations on receiving and managing detention of people in temporary detention and people in temporary detention; Management, operation, exploitation, and use of software to manage detention and temporary detention databases, security control systems; Internship/performance work of detention centers, temporary detention centers, temporary detention center
Speaking to direct at the training conference, Colonel Tran Van Cung - Deputy Director, Head of the Provincial Police Agency for Temporary Detention and Imprisonment Management - requested: Trainees after completing training must effectively apply it to practice, especially in overcoming limitations and shortcomings in the process of performing tasks.
The training conference aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of management and execution of temporary detention and imprisonment; Raise awareness and professional qualifications for officers and soldiers working in management and execution of temporary detention and imprisonment; Strengthen skills to handle situations arising in detention management, prevent violations and errors, and prevent serious incidents from occurring. Thereby, contributing to meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
