On May 27 and 28, 2026, the Traffic Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with HEAD Kim Diep to organize many legal propaganda activities on ensuring traffic order and safety in Phu Quoc special zone, contributing to the effective implementation of the Project to build Phu Quoc special zone into a "Model unit for security, order and urban civilization".
Accordingly, the unit organized traffic safety and order law propaganda combined with safe driving skills guidance for nearly 300 students of the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center. At the propaganda sessions, officers of the Traffic Police Department disseminated the basic contents of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; information on traffic accidents in the area; analyzed the main causes of traffic accidents, especially for teenagers. At the same time, guided skills in handling situations when participating in traffic, safe vehicle control skills and building a civilized traffic culture, and responsible behavior when traveling on the road.
Through propaganda activities, it contributes to raising awareness and self-awareness of complying with traffic laws for students; helping to equip themselves with more necessary knowledge and skills to protect themselves and the community when participating in traffic.
In addition, the Traffic Police Department organizes the distribution of bilingual English-Vietnamese propaganda leaflets in areas with high tourist density to guide and disseminate road traffic laws to foreign tourists when visiting and relaxing in Phu Quoc. This activity not only contributes to raising the awareness of law compliance of people and tourists, but also builds an image of the Police force being close, friendly, responsible, and serving the people.
These practical activities not only contribute to ensuring traffic order and safety, maintaining security and order, building a safe, civilized, and modern traffic environment, but also contribute to building Phu Quoc special zone into a safe and friendly destination.
