On July 20, in Tran De commune, Can Tho city, the Border Guard Command (BDBP) of Can Tho city coordinated with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the "For beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club to organize the inauguration ceremony and hand over the House of gratitude to the families of soldiers in difficult circumstances.
The house was presented to the family of Captain Tran Hoang Tanh, Deputy Head of Trung Binh Border Guard Station. The house has an area of 133m2, with a total construction cost of 550 million VND. Of which, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the "For beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club, sponsored by the family of Mr. Ngo Thuong San and Ms. Le Minh Ngoc, Vice Chairman of the Club, supported 100 million VND; the rest was contributed by the family and relatives.
Captain Tran Hoang Tanh's family is currently facing many difficulties, no house, the couple has to rent a room and are raising a 12-month-old child.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Huynh Thanh Hung, Political Commissar of the Can Tho City Border Guard Command, sent his congratulations to the family of Captain Tran Hoang Tanh and affirmed that the support for the construction of the House of Love is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the concern of all levels, sectors and units in carrying out military rear work for soldiers in difficult circumstances of the unit; contributing to encouraging the spirit, helping officers and soldiers feel secure in their work, successfully completing the task of protecting sovereignty and national border security.
