On June 28, Ayun Pa Ward Police said that they had received 1 subject arrested in the case of being caught red-handed for the act of "Robbery of property" handed over by people.
At about 6:10 am on June 26, subject Ly Van Dai (born 1992, residing in Bon Hoang 1, Ia Sao commune) went to the Ayun Pa market area in group 17, Ayun Pa ward.
When passing Ki-ốt số C58 of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Van (born 1970, residing in group 18, Ayun Pa ward), Dai discovered a red cloth handbag hanging on a column right at the kiosk door, so he had the intention to appropriate it. Taking advantage of the loophole and when Ms. Van was not paying attention, the subject snatched the property and ran away.
As soon as she discovered the incident, Ms. Van shouted for the people to coordinate in chasing and arresting the subject and exhibits. The subject was handed over to Ayun Pa Ward Police for reception and handling according to the provisions of law.
Through inspection, the exhibits inside the stolen red handbag included: 13.5 million VND in cash and 2 mobile phones.
The total value of property appropriated is about 17 million VND. At the police station, suspect Dai admitted all of his criminal acts, and the case is currently being further investigated and clarified for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
