On June 29, Bao Loc Ward 2 Police (Lam Dong) said that during a patrol on Chu Van An street, Mr. Nguyen Van Uy and Mr. Nguyen Van Ha - members of the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level of Residential Group 17 - picked up a leather wallet.
Inside the wallet, there was a lot of cash and personal papers. After that, the two men quickly reported to the Ward Police to verify the owner.
After verification, Ward 2 Police returned all assets to Mr. Vo Tien Anh (resident of Ward 2, Bao Loc).
Receiving back the intact property, Mr. Tien Anh expressed his emotion and thanked the police force and members participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
The act of picking up lost items and returning them to the person who lost them shows a sense of responsibility, honesty and contributes to spreading human values, building a beautiful image of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
Through patrols, residence inspections and grasping the local situation, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level continue to promote their role as "extended arms" of the police, contributing to maintaining security and order and ensuring a peaceful life for people.
