On July 14, Cao Bang Provincial Police said that Thach An Commune Police had coordinated with the Security and Order Protection Force at the grassroots level to return nearly 18 million VND in cash and many assets to people who dropped them.
Previously, on July 12, while working in the fields, Ms. Dam Thi Qua (born 1970, residing in Na Danh village, Thach An commune) picked up 17.8 million VND in cash, a broken silver bracelet and two keys.
Immediately after that, Ms. Qua contacted Mr. Nong Van Huan, a member of the Security and Order Protection Force at Na Danh village base, to report and hand over all assets with the desire to find the owner soon.
Upon receiving information, Thach An Commune Police quickly coordinated with forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to verify. Through review, functional forces identified Ms. Ngo Thi Hoa (born 1957, residing in Na Danh village) as the person who dropped the above property.
After comparing and verifying all the information, the Commune Police made a record and returned all the property to Ms. Hoa. Receiving the property back, Ms. Hoa expressed her emotion and thanked Ms. Dam Thi Qua and the Police force for their dedicated help.
According to Cao Bang Provincial Police, Ms. Dam Thi Qua's honest actions contribute to spreading good values in the community. At the same time, the quick and responsible involvement of Thach An Commune Police continues to affirm its core role in ensuring security, order and serving the people right from the grassroots level.
