Earthquakes in Kon Tum will continue to be complicated
Seismologists believe that earthquakes in Kon Tum will continue to occur in the near future, but it is unlikely to exceed 5.5 on the Richter scale.
According to the latest information, on July 28 and 29, Kon Plong district (Kon Tum) recorded 41 consecutive earthquakes. The largest earthquake, measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale, caused strong shaking in many provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region.

Concerns about recurring sand slides onto roads during heavy rain
Continuous landslides have caused sand to slide from high hills onto roads in Phan Thiet, causing traffic congestion and damaging residents' property.
Most recently, on July 27, red sand slid from high hills onto Nguyen Thong road, in Phu Hai ward, Phan Thiet city, causing traffic congestion at the gateway to Mui Ne and burying residents' tables and chairs. Leaders of the Phan Thiet City People's Committee came to the scene to inspect and direct the resolution of the incident.
Initially determined, the water from the hill above flowed into this area, while the nearby drainage system is still under construction and not yet connected.

2 consecutive accidents in HCMC cause prolonged traffic congestion
On the afternoon of July 29, the Phu Lam Traffic Police Team basically resolved two consecutive accidents on National Highway 1, injuring one person who was trapped in a vehicle.
Initial information indicates that on the morning of July 29, vehicles were moving on National Highway 1 from Provincial Road 10 to Nguyen Thi Tu street (Binh Tan district). About 50 meters past Binh Thuan bridge, a chain collision occurred involving 5 vehicles: 2 cars, 2 trucks, and 1 crane truck.
The incident damaged the vehicles. Among them, one truck was deformed at the front, and the assistant driver was injured and trapped in the cabin. Residents later rescued the assistant driver and took him to the hospital for emergency treatment.
