Eating dragon fish eggs on the 3rd day of Tet, 13 people hospitalized
On February 20, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Department of Health said that the unit had received a report from Ngoc Lac General Hospital on the reception and treatment of 13 cases suspected of poisoning due to eating dragon fish eggs (ornamental fish).
Previously, at about 7 pm on February 19, at a family in Kim Chi village, Ngoc Lien commune, Thanh Hoa province, 13 people ate dragon fish eggs together. A few minutes later, one person appeared with symptoms of abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and was taken to the commune health station for first aid, then transferred to Ngoc Lac General Hospital.
Through examination, doctors determined that many people were at risk of being affected, so they requested the family to take the remaining 12 people to the hospital for monitoring and treatment.

Tan Son Nhat airport begins to enter a peak period after Tet

According to the Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center, on the 4th day of Tet, the airport served a total of 1,037 take-off and landing flights (including 962 passenger flights). Total passenger volume reached the highest level since the peak season: more than 170,000 passengers.
This number increased by about 50,000 compared to normal days, an increase of 15% compared to the same period last year and officially surpassed initial forecasts (the highest was about 165,000). This is also a record for the number of passengers through the airport to date.

In today's adjustment session on February 20, 2026, gasoline prices simultaneously decreased compared to the price adjustment period last week. In which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at 18,634 VND/liter (down 200 VND/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at 19,152 VND/liter (down 146 VND/liter).
Meanwhile, oil prices simultaneously increased. Diesel oil 0.05S is priced at 18, 525 VND/liter (up 62 VND/liter); kerosene has a new price of 18, 615 VND/liter (up 103 VND/liter); mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is priced at 15, 862 VND/kg (up 293 VND/kg).
