Storm Tra Mi causes walls to collapse and roofs to be blown off shops in Quang Tri
Heavy rain and big waves caused by storm Tra Mi (storm number 6) have caused some initial damage in Quang Tri province.
A section of the fence at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School (Ward 4, Ward 1, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province) collapsed. The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on October 27, when it was raining heavily. The fence of the school, about 80 meters long, collapsed and was completely damaged. Fortunately, there were no people around at the time of the incident.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry announced the earliest Lunar New Year holiday schedule for 2025. The school informed all students and trainees that the Lunar New Year holiday will be from January 20, 2025 to February 11, 2025 (ie students will be off from December 21 to January 14). The total holiday will last 23 days.
