Emergency arrest of 9 people carrying offensive coffins parading on the street
On March 3, the Criminal Police Department (PC02) of Ho Chi Minh City Police urgently arrested 9 subjects related to the act of "Disturbing public order". The incident arose from a clip circulating on social media, recording a group of people wearing black carrying a coffin parading in front of Ben Thanh Market (District 1), causing outrage and outrage among the public.
According to the initial investigation, Ho Ngoc Tuan, an online clothing trader on TikTok, was the mastermind of the incident. Tuan came up with the idea of parading the coffin to create a spread effect on social networks, attracting attention and increasing interaction for sales channels.
The group bought a coffin for 3.5 million VND, hired someone to repaint it black and hired someone to carry the coffin for 500,000 VND/person. After that, they put a decal on the coffin and planned to film and take photos.

New-style scams targeting car owners
Recently, many vehicle owners have received scam calls asking to update their vehicle registration certificates on electronic identification accounts (VNeID).
Regarding the situation of many people receiving calls with the above content, the leader of the Vietnam Register said that the inspection agency is currently researching and implementing the development of software to prepare for the implementation of the issuance of electronic inspection certificates. When deploying this application, the Vietnam Register will have an official notification to people and businesses; at the same time, people (vehicle owners) will not have to reissue the Certificate in any form.
Previously, the Vietnam Register also recommended that vehicle owners be vigilant against subjects impersonating State management agencies to request support for issuing and changing inspection stamps.

Excavator overturns onto embankment, 1 driver dies in Quang Ninh
On the morning of March 3, in the area of the church slope, Bach Dang ward, Ha Long city, an excavator accident occurred, killing one person.
According to initial information from the authorities, at around 6:30 a.m., Mr. N.N.D (born in 1978, residing in Cao Thang ward, Ha Long city) was driving an excavator (license plate unknown) to the slope of the Cathedral.
When approaching the top of the slope, the vehicle suddenly slid back and fell onto the right embankment. As a result, Mr. D died on the spot.
