Vinh Airport plans to temporarily suspend operations for 6 months
Vinh Airport is expected to temporarily suspend operations from June to the end of December 2025 to repair and upgrade the runway.
The above information was given at a working session on February 27 between Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of 3 items to renovate and expand Vinh International Airport in 2025.
During the period when Vinh airport is no longer operating, passengers in the North Central region can choose flights from Tho Xuan airport (Thanh Hoa) or Dong Hoi (Quang Binh).
