Big fire at Cai Lan Industrial Park, Ha Long
On the afternoon of December 18, a large fire broke out at Cai Lan Industrial Park, Ha Long City.
According to initial information from Ha Long City authorities, the fire broke out on the 2nd floor of the factory of Van Luc Electronics Company, located in Cai Lan Industrial Park, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City.
The fire broke out at around 2:00 p.m. on December 18, creating a column of black smoke that covered the surrounding area.

Another person arrested for blocking a car and threatening to beat the driver on the road
Police in Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province, have temporarily detained a man who blocked the front of a truck and used a stick and spray bottle to threaten the driver.
On December 18, Dong Phu District Police, Binh Phuoc Province prosecuted and temporarily detained Pham Tien Thanh (39 years old, residing in Tan Phu town, Dong Phu district) for 3 months to investigate and clarify the act of disturbing public order.
Thanh is the pickup truck driver who appeared on social media when he blocked a truck, aggressively holding a stick and a spray bottle (suspected to be pepper spray) to threaten the car driver.

Fishing boat ran aground, sunk by waves at La Gi estuary
On December 18, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of La Gi town, Binh Thuan province informed about the incident of fishing boat BTh 82134Ts sinking at La Gi estuary.
Fishing boat number BTh 82134Ts has a capacity of 16 CV, including 3 workers working in fishing nets, owned and captained by Mr. N.V.T (born in 1980, residing in La Gi town).
