Da Nang strengthens patrols and traces UAVs threatening aviation safety
Flycam reappears near Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang City Military Command drastically tightens management, ensuring flight safety.
Faced with the situation that unlicensed unmanned aerial vehicles (flycams, UAVs) are operating recurringly, posing a serious threat to civil aviation safety, the Da Nang City Military Command is deploying synchronously and drastically many solutions to tighten management, strictly handle violations, and ensure absolute safety for flight operations at Da Nang International Airport.
From February 17 to 22, Da Nang International Airport received 3 reports from the flight crew about the discovery of a flying object suspected to be a flycam appearing in the no-fly zone, take-off and landing corridor.

Special-use forest fire at An Giang border: Estimated damage of about 0.25 ha
According to the An Giang Forest Protection Department, the forest fire occurred in Group 8, Tran The hamlet, Giang Thanh commune (barringtonia acutangula field area), the estimated total burned area is about 0.25 ha. Current status of fire in the barringtonia acutangula field, barringtonia acutangula interspersed with water cajeput trees. The type of forest fired is located in the special-use forest land managed by the Phu My Species - Habitat Management Board.
Currently, Phu My Species - Habitat Conservation Area has a total area of about 1,066.6 ha; of which the core area is 957.8 ha, but currently only 3 forces are directly present to manage and protect it.

Gas cylinder explosion in Hung Yen kills 1 person, injures 1 person
On the afternoon of February 23, Tien Hai Commune Police said that a serious labor accident had just occurred in the area, killing 1 person and injuring 1 person.
According to initial information, at about 9:30 am on the same day, in Trinh Trung Dong village, Tien Hai commune, Hung Yen province, a gas cylinder explosion occurred during repairs. The incident seriously injured Mr. N.C.H (born 1955, residing in Trinh Trung Dong village, Tien Hai commune). The victim was taken to the emergency room, but died at noon on the same day due to severe injuries.
Another victim, Mr. N.V.H (born in 1982, residing in Dong village, Ai Quoc commune) was injured and is currently being treated at Dai Duong General Hospital.
Initial verification results show that Mr. N.V.H works as a car repairman. Previously, he discovered a compressed air tank (about 145cm high, 80cm diameter) leaking from the bottom, he brought it to hire Mr. N.C.H (working as a welder) to repair it. While the two were welding the bottom of the compressed air tank, the tank suddenly exploded, causing a particularly serious accident.
