Closing 1 bottom spillway gate of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Reservoir this afternoon
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just issued a telegram on the closure of a bottom spillway of Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir.
According to the Official Dispatch, at 1:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025, the upstream water level of Tuyen Quang Lake was at the elevation of 106.16m, the downstream water level was 55.28m, the flow to the lake was 1,440m3/s, the maximum flow downstream was 2,271m3/s.
The Minister of Agriculture and Environment has ordered the Director of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company to: close 01 bottom spillway gate of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Reservoir at 6:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025. Closely monitor the developments of floods, construction safety, flow to the reservoir, water levels upstream and downstream of the reservoir and promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (through the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control) and relevant agencies according to regulations).

Gasoline explosion in Son La, one person died, two injured
A man died and two people were injured in a fuel tank explosion while welding a corrugated iron roof behind a gas station in Son La City.
On the morning of June 30, at gas station No. 1, Group 17, Le Duan Street, Chieng Sinh Ward, Son La City (Son La Province), a serious fuel tank explosion occurred, killing one person on the spot and injuring two others slightly.
According to initial information, at around 8:30 a.m. the same day, Mr. Q (39 years old, residing in sub-zone 1, Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city) climbed onto the corrugated iron roof behind the No. 1 gas station to weld and repair. At this time, 2 help workers standing below were supporting. During the construction process, due to negligence, the rear fuel tank suddenly exploded.

From July 1, businesses cannot promote more than 50% of their selling price
Article 3 of Circular 39/2025/TT-BCT stipulates the maximum limit on the value of goods and services used for promotion:
- The material value used for promotion for a unit of goods and services to be promoted must not exceed 50% of the selling price immediately before the promotion period of that unit of goods and services to be promoted, except for promotions in the forms specified in Clause 8 and Clause 9, Article 8, Clause 2, Article 9, Article 12, Article 14 of Decree 81/2018/ND-CP.
- The total value of goods and services used for promotion in a promotion program must not exceed 50% of the total value of the promoted goods and services, except for cases of promotion in the form of regulations in Clause 8 and Clause 9, Article 92 of the Law on Commerce, Article 8 and Clause 2, Article 9 of Decree No. 81/2018/ND-CP.
Article 4 of Circular 39/2025/TT-BCT stipulates the maximum discount for promoted goods and services.
