Closing 01 bottom spillway gate of Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir at 6:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025. Closely monitor the developments of floods, construction safety, flow to the reservoir, water levels upstream and downstream of the reservoir and promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (through the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control) and relevant agencies according to regulations).
On the same day, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also sent a document to the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi on ensuring safety downstream when operating Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir.
The Ministry requests the People's Committees of provinces and cities to notify authorities at all levels, people, and organizations operating on rivers and along rivers to know information to proactively take measures to ensure safety and adjust operations appropriately; not allowing people to go to areas at risk of landslides, construction works under construction, to avoid unfortunate damage.
