Gasoline and oil prices increase sharply, kerosene prices increase to the highest of 7,132 VND/liter
In today's adjustment session on March 5, 2026, gasoline and oil prices simultaneously increased sharply compared to the price adjustment period last week. In which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at 21,449 VND/liter (an increase of 1,926 VND/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at 22,340 VND/liter (an increase of 2,189 VND/liter).
Diesel oil 0.05S is priced at 23,037 VND/liter (up 3.758 VND/liter); kerosene has a new price of 26,601 VND/liter (up 7,132 VND/liter); mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is priced at 17,496 VND/kg (up 1,807 VND/kg).

Deep under the mountain, workers work overnight to extend the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway
The project to expand the Yen Bai - Lao Cai section of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway has a total length of 121 km, with a total investment of nearly 7,700 billion VND, invested by Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC). According to the design, the route will be expanded from 2 to 4 lanes, with a roadbed width of 24 m. On the route, there is a 530 m long Dai Viet tunnel, with a scale of 3 lanes, constructed by Song Da 10 MTV Co., Ltd.

Mr. Phung Duc Tue - Construction site commander of Song Da Company 10.1 - said that the unit organizes continuous construction, without days off. "Each meter of tunnel being dug is the result of a tightly coordinated production line: drilling, blasting, excavation, concrete spraying, and reinforcement of the tunnel arch. Just one step slow down, and the entire progress will be affected," Mr. Tue said.

Hanoi proposes piloting electric cyclo for tourism in 12 months
Hanoi Department of Construction has just reported to Hanoi City People's Committee on the results of implementing a number of tasks in the roadmap for converting "green" transportation in the area, including a plan to study piloting electric cyclos for tourism.
The Department of Construction is working with Hanoi Tourism Corporation to research and develop electric cyclo products to serve tourists in the area. Currently, this unit is conducting surveys, developing implementation plans and assessing the feasibility of the project.
To ensure the development of cyclo tourism services in accordance with legal regulations, and at the same time create a fair competitive environment between types of transport, the Department of Construction proposes that the Hanoi People's Committee allow Hanoi Tourism Corporation to pilot electric cyclos for 12 months.
