Gasoline prices slightly decreased from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon
In today's adjustment session (October 23), gasoline prices decreased simultaneously compared to the previous price management period. Of which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at VND19,550/liter (down VND176/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND19,526/liter (down VND177/liter).
Prices of oil products have decreased simultaneously. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND17,885/liter (down VND538/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND18,115/liter (down VND291/liter); mazut is priced at VND14,098/kg (down VND273).

Timely rescue of 165 people in rising floodwaters in Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City
Initial information, at 1:8 a.m. on October 23, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Team (PCCC&CNCH) Region 31 under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received an urgent notice from the Command and Police Information Center - Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC07) about a rescue case in Ben Cat Ward.
The cause was determined to be heavy rain causing serious localized flooding in some residential areas. Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 31 urgently mobilized forces to the scene.

In group 8, Cau Doi quarter, Ben Cat ward, water poured in a lot, rising 2 m. The strong water surrounded a house with 7 people inside. The units used life jackets, buoys, and ropes to approach the house and bring the 7 people to a safe area.

Storm recedes, light rain but people in low-lying areas of Da Nang do not dare to return to normal life
After storm No. 12 weakened and dissipated, the weather in Da Nang has only had light rain in the past few days. However, due to high tides, combined with easterly winds, some coastal vulnerable areas and low-lying areas along riverbanks have been threatened by large waves, embankment, riverbank and sea erosion.
