Free 128 urban bus and railway routes for people attending the National Day Ceremony
From August 30, 2025 to September 2, 2025, the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center will coordinate with bus transport enterprises and Hanoi Railway Company Limited to implement exemption of tickets for using subsidized public passenger transport (buses and urban railways) for people and tourists.
This is a continuation of the country's A80 event celebration event, aiming to support and create the most favorable conditions for people and tourists to travel, travel to historical sites, participate in events and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, contributing to reducing traffic congestion and reducing environmental pollution, implementing the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Temporarily stopping receiving visitors at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Bien Quoc Dac biet
On August 23, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province said that from August 23, the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Monument will temporarily stop receiving visitors to serve the construction of the Thong Nhat Park project - a project with a total investment of 80 billion VND.

Accordingly, during the time of handing over the site and implementing the construction of all items of the project (from August 2025 to December 31, 2025), the reception, explanation and guidance of visitors will not ensure service conditions. The temporary suspension of receiving visitors is also to ensure safety throughout the construction process, while creating favorable conditions for the Project Management Board to speed up the progress and soon complete the project items.

Two female barrier guards bravely prevented a railway accident
According to information from Vietnam Railway Corporation, at 9:28 p.m. on August 22, 2025, at the level crossing at Km 1649+528, after the barrier was closed to prepare for the SE4 train pass, a young man driving a motorbike with license plate 52-F1.20xx suddenly crashed straight into the No. 1 level crossing, causing the driver and vehicles to be stuck on the railway, threatening the safety of train travel.
Fortunately, when two female employees on the 2nd shift on August 22, 2025 at the Km 1649+528 checkpoint on Long Khanh road, the Long Khanh railway team, Tran Thi Thuy and Vu Thi Dien, quickly, calmly, bravely and with the people participating in traffic, handled the situation professionally, promptly preventing the unfortunate accident from happening.
