On the morning of September 9, Phong Chau bridge connecting Tam Nong district and Lam Thao district (Phu Tho province) collapsed.

Fire at plastic factory in HCMC
On September 9, Binh Chanh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City investigated the fire at a plastic factory on Cay Cam Street, Vinh Loc B Commune.
The fire was determined to have occurred at around 1 a.m. the same day. At that time, people discovered fire coming from inside the factory area on Cay Cam Street, Vinh Loc B Commune, Binh Chanh District.
At this time, people inside the factory ran outside to shout for help and mobilized fire extinguishers and pulled water hoses to put out the fire. The fire and explosion caused panic among the residents in the residential area.
