Reviving 7 lives from organ donation of 44-year-old man
The organs of the 44-year-old man with brain death have been coordinated to many medical facilities to treat many patients.
On the afternoon of March 21, informing about the organ removal and transplantation from a brain-dead donor, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Thanh - Director of Thong Nhat Hospital said that the surgery to remove tissue and body parts from a brain-dead donor, T.H.N (44 years old, male, Dak Lak province) was successful. 7 units of tissue and body parts were quickly transported to hospitals for transplant to recipients.
2 kidneys were transplanted to 2 patients at Thong Nhat Hospital; 1 heart and part of a liver were transplanted to 2 patients at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital; 1 part of a liver was transplanted to a patient at Hue Central Hospital; 2 corneas were transplanted to 2 patients at Cho Ray Hospital.

Offshore fishing boat sinks, 5 Quang Nam fishermen die and go missing
A serious fishing boat sinking at sea at noon on March 21 left 1 person dead and 4 people missing.
On the afternoon of March 21, the leader of the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district confirmed that the fishing boat QNa-91679-TS, owned by Mr. Phan Van Thanh (born in 1971, residing in Tam Giang commune), had sunk at the coordinates 13°50'N - 110°09'E.
The information was reported when Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tien, owner of the QNa-91405-TS ship, received information of a rescue from the ship in distress that sank at around 11:30 am on the same day. Immediately afterwards, 3 Quang Nam fishing boats operating nearby approached the scene and rescued 11 fishermen, but 1 person died.
Currently, 4 fishermen are still missing and the rescue team is still actively searching in complicated weather conditions at sea.

HCMC approves 1,357 hectares of land to be reclaimed for Can Gio urban project
The Can Gio coastal urban tourism project is 2,870 hectares wide, of which the coastal encroachment area is 1,357 hectares.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just approved the sea encroachment item of the Can Gio Sea- encroached Urban Tourism Area project (Long Hoa commune and Can Thanh town, Can Gio district).
The Can Gio coastal urban tourism project has a total area of 2,870 hectares, of which the approved coastal encroachment area is 1,357 hectares.
The project needs about 64,425 billion VND to implement important items such as leveling, lake embankments and sea embankments by 2031.
The project investor is Can Gio Urban Tourism Joint Stock Company.
The Can Gio coastal urban tourism project has an expected population of nearly 230,000 people, with the ability to welcome 8 - 9 million tourists each year.
