Urgent search of the drug lord's residence in Hai Phong, seizing many guns and bullets
On April 23, Hai Phong City Police informed that at 10:30 a.m. on April 11, at Hai Nhien Anh Hotel (Nam Son Ward, Kien An District), the Working Group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Hai Phong City Police caught a group of subjects red-handed for organizing illegal use of drugs.
The subjects include: Pham Hung Dung (born in 1983, in Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen), D.T.K.T (born in 2008, residing in Quang Ninh province), Nguyen Ngoc Luan (born in 1990, residing in Thuy Truong, Thai Thuy, Thai Binh province). It is known that Dung is a drug illegal retailer in the city that had been previously recorded by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department.
Focusing on expanding the case, the Investigation Police Agency of the City Police executed an emergency search warrant for Pham Hung Dung's residence. Through the inspection, the working group discovered and seized 2,210.3 grams of synthetic drugs, 1 gun, 15 bullets, 1 car, 6 mobile phones and some other related exhibits.

Hai Phong urgently traffic diversion to Cat Ba Island during the holiday
The People's Committee of Hai Phong City has just issued an urgent dispatch on urgent plans to direct traffic through Dong Bai ferry.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City assigned the Department of Construction to announce the temporary suspension of transportation of cars and trucks from Dong Bai (in the direction from Cat Hai to Cat Ba Island) from April 26 to April 4 and weekends from May 10 to July 30. The temporary suspension period is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (except for priority vehicles according to regulations).
During the above suspension period, people and tourists to Cat Ba Island travel by waterway passenger transport, Tuan Chau - Gia Luan ferry or cable car. Depending on the actual traffic situation at Dong Bai ferry terminal, units flexibly regulate vehicles passing through the ferry on specific days.

The number of flights to Ho Chi Minh City increased sharply during the April 30 holiday
Tan Son Nhat Airport is implementing solutions to ensure stable operations during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, serving passengers quickly and conveniently.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, from April 20 to May 5, Ho Chi Minh City will be the center for many national activities. To serve the increased travel needs of delegates, working delegations and people, airlines have been required to increase flight frequency, especially on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route and key tourist routes.
This year's holiday, Vietnamese airlines plan to operate 7,536 flights (an average of 685 flights/day), an increase of 21% over the same period last year; providing about 1.5 million seats. Of which, the largest proportion is air routes to/from Ho Chi Minh City with 5,083 flights (average 462 flights/day).
With this number of flights, Tan Son Nhat airport is expected to set a new record for the number of passengers served during the upcoming holiday. For the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City connecting route alone, airlines plan to operate 1,261 flights, an increase of 16%; provide 305,000 seats.
