Ministry of Education gives reasons for controlling early admission quota
The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a draft circular amending and supplementing the regulations on university and college admissions, and preschool education.
The notable point of the revised draft circular is that the early admission quota is determined by the training institution but does not exceed 20% of the quota of each training major or group of majors.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, said that the 20% limit is based on the practical situation of enrollment in recent years, so that early enrollment only focuses on candidates with outstanding abilities and academic achievements, limiting the impact on students' studies in the final semester of grade 12 and high school graduation exam preparation. The most important thing is to create fairness among candidates when applying.

Traffic on the road proposed to expand over 15,000 billion VND
National Highway 1 (from Kinh Duong Vuong Street, Ho Chi Minh City to the border of Long An province) through Binh Chanh district is the main gateway from Ho Chi Minh City to the provinces of the Mekong Delta, and is also the connecting section of many major roads such as Vo Van Kiet Avenue, Nguyen Van Linh, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, and also the route leading to Mien Tay bus station. Currently, this section of road often experiences traffic congestion.
On November 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport held a conference to consult with all parties on the implementation of the project to expand National Highway 1 (from Kinh Duong Vuong Street to the border of Long An province) with a length of 9.3 km. According to the research report of the consulting unit, there are two options proposed to expand this section of National Highway 1.
