Ice appears on Fansipan peak
On November 23, informing Lao Dong, Ms. Hoang Thi Vuong - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Sa Pa town confirmed that ice appeared on Fansipan peak that morning. According to Ms. Vuong, at Fansipan peak, due to the temperature dropping to about 2 degrees Celsius, a thin layer of ice appeared.
Weather experts explain that ice appeared on Fansipan peak because the sky was clear and the temperature was low. Water vapor and dew on the surface will condense into ice when exposed to low temperatures.
