Heavy rain causes landslides, flooding many roads in Dien Bien
Due to the impact of the prolonged heavy rain in recent days, many landslides have appeared in Dien Bien province, causing traffic congestion. Floods also affected people's lives, when some roads were partially flooded.
Accordingly, Provincial Road 146, from the center of Bung Lao Commune to Muong Lan Commune (Dien Bien Province), soil and rock from the positive slope collapsed, overflowing onto the road surface at some points. More seriously, some sections of the road were flooded with floodwaters and strong currents, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
