Relocating the Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau high-speed train terminal at Bach Dang terminal to build a 1,000 billion VND pedestrian bridge
On the morning of May 6, Green DP Technology Company Limited (GreenlinesDP) - the operator of the Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau high-speed train route confirmed that the high-speed train route from the center of Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau has been suspended since May 5 to serve the construction of a pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River at Bach Dang wharf (District 1).
GreenlinesDP said it has proposed a new wharf location to continue exploiting the route and is currently waiting for approval from Ho Chi Minh City authorities.
Ship bridge No. 2, 80 m long, 9 m wide, located along Bach Dang wharf park on the Saigon River, has been leased by GreenlinesDP for many years to operate the high-speed train route to Vung Tau.
