Temporarily closing National Highway 1 through Khanh Hoa, hundreds of vehicles are stuck in flooded areas
On the afternoon of November 21, the Traffic Police (CSGT) of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police set up a checkpoint in Cong Hai Commune (old Ninh Thuan) to temporarily close National Highway 1 in the South - North direction, due to the congestion of vehicles in front of the flooded area bordering Phu Yen.
Hundreds of cars, trucks and passenger cars were forced to stop waiting for the route to open.
According to the Khanh Hoa Traffic Police Department, many sections of National Highway 1 in the area are deeply flooded due to rising floodwaters, posing a potential risk to traffic safety, so the authorities have to temporarily limit vehicles traveling from the South to Khanh Hoa.

Metro No. 1 HCMC opens 14 stations as points for receiving relief goods sent to the Central region

Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) will receive relief goods sent to people in the Central provinces affected by storms and floods at 14 stations.
On November 21, Urban Railway Company No. 1 said that, with the approval of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City on coordinating the implementation of receiving points to support people in the Central region affected by storms and floods, the unit will organize the collection of relief goods at 14 stations on Metro Line 1.
All goods after receipt will be transported to the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for classification and transit to the Central region.

Rescuing 14 workers who have been hungry for many days at the highway construction site
The authorities have approached the scene to rescue a group of workers trapped in the flooded area while constructing the North-South Expressway.
On November 21, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the rescue force had approached and rescued a group of 14 workers who had been stuck for many days at the Chi Thanh - Van Phong Expressway construction site (belonging to the North - South Expressway).
The group of workers fell into a state of complete isolation due to the large flood.
The authorities have brought the canoe close to the accident area. However, the strong water flow and phone signal caused many difficulties in the rescue work.
