Through monitoring weather radar images, it shows that the convective cloud is causing showers and thunderstorms for residential groups/hamlets of wards/communes such as: Tam Diep, Yen Son, Trung Son, Yen Thang, Hoa Lu, Tay Hoa Lu, Nam Hoa Lu, Dong Hoa Lu, Yen Mo, Yen Tu, Yen Mac, Dong Thai, Yen Khanh, Khanh Nhac, Khanh Thien, Khanh Hoi, Khanh Trung. In addition, the convective cloud from Hung Yen province is moving towards Ninh Binh province.
Warning about the possibility of appearing in the current period until the next few hours, these convective cloud areas continue to develop, move, causing showers and thunderstorms for residential groups/hamlets of wards/communes such as: Duy Tien, Duy Tan, Dong Van, Duy Ha, Tien Son, Ly Nhan, Nam Xang, Bac Ly, Vinh Tru, Tran Thuong, Nhan Ha, Nam Ly, Binh My, Binh An, Binh Giang, Binh Son, Nam Dinh, Thien Truong, Dong A, Vi Khe, Thanh Nam, Truong Thi, My Loc, Hong Quang, Nam Truc, Nam Minh, Nam Dong, Nam Ninh, Nam Hong, Co Le, Ninh Giang, Cat Thanh, Truc Ninh, Quang Hung, Minh Thai, Ninh Cuong, Xuan Truong, Xuan Hung, Xuan Giang, Xuan Hong, Giao Minh, Giao Hoa, Giao Thuy, Giao Phuc, Giao Hung, Giao Binh, Giao Ninh... then spread to residential groups/hamlets of other neighboring wards/communes of Ninh Binh province.
In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of lightning, tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind that can break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure, causing danger to human lives.

Also on the morning of August 23, reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper recorded that in some wards in Ninh Binh province such as: Nam Dinh, Vi Khe, Hong Quang... there appeared drizzling rain and light winds.
